![]() ![]() ![]() Since you’re going to the fortress no matter what, head north first to the Forest Village. Immediately following the battle, a detachment of enemy forces will appear on the crossroads between you and Desaix’s Fortress. Let Fernand take his turn: there’s not likely anyone near him he can do serious damage to, but you’ll defeat him, earning some Honey for your efforts. Defeat him if your units are close enough, otherwise have the remaining units wipe out the other Cavalier. Forsyth joins the ranks of Askrs Order of Heroes, having taken a break from serving The Deliverance in order to act as a self-sustaining defensive juggernaut. Follow up your assault on Berkut by having Clair move in on Fernand. This will bring him to within an inch of death you can then have Clive finish him off, claiming the Blessed Ring in the process. When it’s your turn again, have Alm move in close enough to use Thunderclap on Berkut, then have Tobin use Heavy Draw on him. Forsyth is one such Lancer that you’ll meet in Act 2 of Fire Emblem Echoes, and a member of The Deliverance, the force working to take back the Kingdom of Zofia. Do be aware Berkut is equipped with a Blessed Ring: for every turn that you don’t defeat him, he’ll regain health. The enemy will immediately move in to engage, but as long as Berkut is only able to target your high-defense units, he shouldn’t do a ton of damage to them before you’re really ready to engage. Start by positioning your southern/southeastern/eastern detachments just outside of Berkut’s range, then carefully position your northern detachment on the eastern edge of Berkut’s range as you have them make their way south to join the others. However, Berkut has incredible range - he can move 7 spaces in just about every direction - so the fact that your units are split up means they’re all in danger of being ridden down. Support conversations: Gray+ Clair This battle appears at first glance to be entirely in your favor: in the middle of the map, Berkut, Fernand, and a Cavalier are surrounded by Faye, Kliff, and Silque to the north, Clair and Clive to the east, Lukas, Gray, Tobin and Alm to the south, as well as Forsyth and Python to the southeast. ![]()
